Field Trip Details

Happy Halloween!

Field Trip Details
  • Leave school at 8:30.  
  • We should arrive at the performing arts center no later than 10:00 and be seated for our 10:15 show.  
  • The performance is about an hour and 15 minutes long, so we will leave there at approximately 11:30 and head to lunch.  
  • We will arrive at Salamandra’s around 12:30/12:45 and then head back to school after lunch.  
  • Regular dress code!

As you already know, this is Mr. Nicholson's final year as headmaster at GWA.  He will be recognized for his 27 years of service to GWA during half-time. Please show your support

*Field Trip News*


Mrs. McElveen will be taking our 5th graders on a Spanish field trip to see "Don Quijote" in Jonesboro on October 31. We will eat at Salamandra’s to finish the trip. Parents are welcome to join us at Salamandra's. The cost is $26.00. The permission slips are coming home today!!

 PINK OUT for GWA 
All students and staff are welcome to wear pink attire or GWA spirit wear to school on Friday.  

This includes:
  •   Pink shirts, bows, shoe laces, pants or appropriate length shorts
  •   GWA spirit wear- no collared shirt is required
  •   Jeans- (NO JEAN shorts )

If you are not wearing jeans, black or khaki is required.  

NO Painted faces or hair during the school day


Be sure to attend the home game against Riverside at 7:30 and WEAR YOUR PINK!!!
