Cheerleading Informational Meeting
In case you missed it in the In Focus, there will be a cheerleading INFORMATIONAL meeting this Thursday, 2/21, at 6:00 in the auditorium. This is for rising 6th-12th grade. If your student is interested in trying out for middle school or high school cheerleading, or is even considering being interested, please come learn more about the cheerleading program here at GWA. We will be giving dates for tryouts, dates for summer camp, fall practice times, costs, etc.

We are excited to announce the first ever youth track program at GWA! Students in grades first through fifth grade are invited to lace up their running shoes and race to the start of a brand new season with us! Want to learn more? A parent information session will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Lower school track team practice will begin on Monday, Feb. 4.

down. In this parent program, Ellen Carrington will discuss teaching
your students healthy
boundaries.

Ellen Carrington is a
trained Parenting the Love and Logic Way course instructor
and the parent of twin 16-year-old boys. She has taught this course for 15
years in schools, churches, and for foster parenting programs. Ellen has found
the Love and Logic skills to have a positive impact on her parenting and in her
work as an educator. Ellen has 12 years of experience in leadership with
middle and high school youth and has led a large variety of adult classes and
retreats. She has a Master’s Degree in Educational Ministry from Columbia
Seminary in Decatur, Georgia.
